The Oaks at High Hill is conveniently located between Houston, Austin and San Antonio, in the beautiful hill country of Schulenburg, Texas.

Situated on twenty acres, along a natural, spring-fed creek, over-looking majestic live oak trees; the natural beauty of the countryside provides a picturesque setting for your perfect day.

At The Oaks at High Hill, we aim to make your event the talk of the town. Wow your guests in style as they take to the dancefloor beneath elegant vaulted ceilings and lavish crystal chandeliers. Then as the festivities kick into high gear, you can party the night away on our oversized outdoor patio. Grab a drink at the bar and watch the incredible sunset over the gorgeous Texas landscape.

The Venue
The Oaks at High Hill has all the modern features you have come to expect, combined with the rustic charm and sophistication of the countryside.

Our glamorous ballroom, along with our covered outdoor patio and beer garden, has more than enough space to host events of any size.
​
The dual-purpose bar serves guests both in the ballroom and on the patio and is connected directly to our full-service caterers kitchen; which has access to the rear of the building for quick unloading and setup.
​
We have plenty of accommodation available for your guests with lodging in our spacious over-night cottages and RV spaces equipped with utilities. We also have a "Resort-style" home available for rent and Best Western & Holiday Inn just 4 miles from the property.

Indoor & Outdoor Ceremonies
We have several options for indoor and outdoor ceremonies. Whether its in the shadow of the 175 year old ceremony tree, or inside beneath our breathtaking chandeliers; there is sure to be a location that you'll fall in love with.
We can accommodate groups of almost any size. From modest and intimate ceremonies, to large and extravagant, our venue is sufficient enough to welcome any size group up to 600 of your closest friends and family.


Two-Story Luxury Bridal Suite, Grooms Saloon & the beautifully appointed Honeymoon Suite
For the ladies, a luxury two-story bridal suite that comes complete with dressing room, living room, kitchenette, six hair & make-up stations, salon style chairs, and covered outdoor deck with private parking and of course chilled champagne and mimosas.
We also feature the famous grooms saloon for the guys, which comes equipped with a large kitchenette & bar area, full bathroom with walk-in shower, covered outdoor deck; a delicious BBQ lunch with iced-down beer and all the supplies for some well-deserved bass fishing in the
on-site spring-fed creek. .











The Cottages
Included in your package are ten beautifully appointed on-site cottages for your overnight guests who wish to stay at the venue. There are eight cottages which feature a king bed with memory foam mattress, full bathroom with walk-in shower, Keurig coffee maker, fridge, microwave and 70' 4K smart TV and two small homes which feature a separate bedroom, full kitchen with an oven, stove, fridge, microwave, full bathroom, living room and roof deck. Rollaway beds are available for extra bedding. The cottages are located on-site with their own private parking, picnic table, fire-pit and seasonal patio heater. You and your guests can also enjoy our brand new on-site General Store! Stocked with snacks, drinks, candy, charcoal, firewood, fishing poles, beer, wine, freshly made boudin, ice-creams and lots more.
The cottages are a short walk from the main reception event space and covered outdoor bar and patio.
